PRISM EXPRESS
Many people in our local community cannot access safe transportation. This need is growing every day and includes senior citizens, disabled individuals, and people without cars. Many individuals aren't able to get to medical appointments, nursing home visits or church activities without relying on friends or family.

PRISM Express offers a well-loved service to area residents with reliable, friendly, curb-to-curb transportation, allowing them to continue to enjoy independent living.  Click here to view the PRISM Express brochure.

PRISM Express is now offering shopping trips to Super Wal-Mart and Aldi’s, on a rotating basis, every Friday.    Cost to ride is $6 roundtrip.

DIAL-A-RIDE Service
This well-loved individualized service for area residents offers reliable, friendly, curb-to-curb transportation to help residents to meet their goal of enjoyable independent living.

Various ride requests are scheduled including:

Dial-A-Ride Fares

PRISM utilizes a ‘fare ticket’ system.  In order to ride, riders must purchase either a $5.00 round trip fare ticket or a $2.50 one-way fare ticket.

To purchase fare tickets: call 763-529-1350 or send a check for the exact amount made out to PRISM, attention: PRISM Express (please put in the memo line PRISM Express fare pass) to 730 Florida Avenue South, Golden Valley, MN 55426.

Medical Insurance Reimbursed Service
Please contact PRISM to see if your medical insurance covers your medical ride. PRISM Express staff will be available to answers your questions regarding insurance coverage for medical trips.

Group Trip / Charter Service
Call us about our affordable prices for your next group outing or even regularly scheduled group trip needs. PRISM has a variety of vehicle to accommodate the size of your group:

• 29 passenger coach bus
• 8 passenger bus (2 wheelchair spaces)
• 13 passenger bus (2 wheelchair spaces)
• 14 passenger bus (2 wheelchair spaces)
• 17 passenger bus (1 wheelchair spaces)

Group Trip Fare
Our group trip rate comes with:

• Fully trained certified driver
• Door to door assistance if needed
• Assistance to carry up to 2 average sized packages per rider

Group Trip Rate:

• $50/hour - non-profit agency
• $60/hour - for profit agency

Our reservation line is answered Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

We check our voice messages throughout the day. Please leave a detailed message including:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• The date and time of your appointment
• Where you are going for your appointment

Note: New riders must register before scheduling a ride with PRISM Express

Scheduling

• At least a 2 day advance notice is needed to schedule a ride.
• Our schedule changes each day as we are a general public dial-a-ride service.
• We may be able to accommodate last minute requests, but only as our schedule permits.
• Children under the age of 10 ride free and are required to be accompanied by an adult.
• One business day before your scheduled ride you will receive a phone call confirming your pick-up time for the next day.
• Our pick-up time operates on a one-hour pick-up  window. Within that one hour window, the driver will call you when he is 8-10 minutes away from your home. At that
time, you will need to proceed to the pick- up location so that you are ready when the driver arrives.
